Senior Frontend Developer (Vue 3)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Vue 3 experience to join a long-term public sector digitalisation programme in Denmark.

You will become part of an experienced agile development team building modern frontend applications used in a business-critical environment. Depending on the team, you will work on either traditional Single Page Applications (SPA) or Micro Frontends based on Module Federation.

The solutions are built with modern frontend technologies and integrated with Java-based backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript

• Build scalable, maintainable and reusable frontend components

• Develop both Single Page Applications and Micro Frontend solutions

• Integrate frontend applications with REST-based backend services

• Participate in architecture discussions, refinement sessions, estimation and technical design

• Perform code reviews and contribute to high engineering standards

• Ensure high quality through automated testing and continuous improvement

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, UX designers and Product Owners

Technical environment

You will work with technologies including:

• Vue 3

• TypeScript

• Vite

• Module Federation (Micro Frontends)

• Docker

• Kubernetes

• Helm / Helmfile

• Vitest

• Cypress

The team also works according to modern engineering standards, including:

• WCAG 2.2 accessibility

• Internationalisation (i18n)

• Agile development practices

Required qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Vue 3

• Solid experience with TypeScript

• Experience building modern Single Page Applications

• Experience integrating REST APIs

• Experience with Vite

• Experience working in Agile development teams

• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability and collaboration

• Language: Fluent spoken and written Danish is a mandatory requirement

Nice to have

• Experience with Micro Frontends and Module Federation

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm

• Experience with automated testing using Vitest and/or Cypress

• Experience with accessibility (WCAG)

• Experience with internationalisation (i18n)

• Experience working on large enterprise or public sector solutions

• Understanding of Java-based backend environments

• Location: Full time onsite in Greater Copenhagen

• Start: August or September 2026
