Are you ready to lead the transformation of sustainable dairy farming while ensuring operational excellence and quality at scale?

As Senior Manager, you will join Agriculture Denmark, a team of 11 dedicated colleagues responsible for supporting Arla’s 1,600 Danish farmers and ensuring that daily operations, including the coop democratic processes, quality standards and farm-level implementation run smoothly. The team plays a key role in bringing tools, standards, and initiatives to life on farm, including Arlagården, Arla’s on farm quality program.

How you will make an impact

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving quality, sustainability, and commercialization initiatives within agriculture in Denmark. You will lead a team of specialists and play a critical role in connecting local operations with global initiatives, ensuring alignment while inspiring continuous improvement across markets and with farmers.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of specialists within agriculture, sustainability, quality programs, auditing, and standards


• Ensure delivery of high-quality programs, standards, and daily operations - acting as the operational backbone of the function


• Drive sustainability initiatives in close collaboration with farmers, focusing on practical improvements at farm level


• Act as a key coordinator and facilitator across local and global stakeholders, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing


• Support with strategic initiatives, governance processes, and execution of sustainability priorities

What will make you successful

We are looking for a candidate with a strong professional foundation within agriculture combined with the ability to lead and navigate a complex stakeholder landscape.

• A solid educational background within agriculture or a related field


• Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and interest in political and regulatory environments


• Proven leadership experience or clear potential to grow into a strong people leader


• Ability to ensure quality and follow through consistently - you do not compromise on standards


• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage both internally and externally


• A proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to navigate complexity and read the room effectively
