Job Description - Senior Product Manager

Senior Product Manager - New Product & Customer Discovery

We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to help shape and launch a new product area within Cludo. We're a B2B SaaS company building AI-powered site search with HQ in Copenhagen, an office in Minneapolis, and a team of around 40 people spread across Europe and the US.

This role is focused on discovering what customers actually need next and helping shape entirely new product capabilities around those needs. You'll spend a significant amount of time with customers and prospects, identifying problems worth solving, validating opportunities, and helping turn early ideas into products customers genuinely want to adopt.

You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with two other PMs focused on our search platform and AI initiatives.

Why Cludo

AI is fundamentally changing what search can do, and we're building what comes next. This is a rare moment to join a focused, ambitious team at an inflection point, with real ownership over a new product area and a direct line to the CEO.

You won't be a PM in a queue. You'll be the person shaping what Cludo builds next, working closely with customers, and seeing your decisions turn into shipped product on a short timeline.

We offer a competitive salary, pension scheme, and health benefits, and we take team culture seriously with regular events and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the discovery and development of new product opportunities from idea to launch. A core part of the role is spending time with customers: understanding workflows, uncovering pain points, validating concepts, and translating real-world needs into product direction.

This is a highly cross-functional role where you'll work closely with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and leadership to shape what we build next. You'll help define product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and ensure we're solving meaningful customer problems rather than just shipping features.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Conduct customer discovery interviews and maintain close relationships with customers and prospects.

  • Identify unmet customer needs and turn insights into clear product opportunities.

  • Drive early-stage product discovery, validation, and go-to-market collaboration using AI-native tools, quickly mocking up ideas, prototyping workflows, and validating solutions directly with customers before engineering investment.

  • Partner with engineers and designers to scope, define, and ship new product capabilities.

  • Work closely with sales and customer success teams to understand market feedback and validate product direction.

  • Help shape positioning, packaging, and adoption strategies for new product areas.

  • Be deeply involved in the full lifecycle of new product development, from first customer conversation to launch and iteration.

Our engineering team is primarily based in Europe and owns services end-to-end (build, ship, monitor in production). You don't need to write production code, but you should be comfortable collaborating with technical teams and using modern AI tools to explore ideas, create lightweight prototypes, and accelerate product discovery. We care more about your ability to rapidly learn, test, and communicate ideas than writing detailed specs.

We're a small and fast-moving company with short feedback loops and real ownership. We value people who are curious, pragmatic, customer-oriented, AI-native in how they work, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.

What Success Looks Like

In the first six months, we'd expect you to:

  • Establish a strong customer discovery rhythm with existing and prospective customers.

  • Identify and prioritize key customer problems and product opportunities.

  • Validate product concepts through interviews, prototypes, and early customer feedback.

  • Help scope and launch the first iterations of new product capabilities.

  • Build strong collaboration loops between product, engineering, sales, and customer success.

Twelve months in, we'd expect to see:

  • Clear customer adoption and engagement around newly launched capabilities.

  • A validated roadmap for the next phase of the product area.

  • Strong customer relationships and a clear understanding of market needs shaping product strategy.

  • Measurable business impact from the new product initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Five or more years of product management experience, with at least three years in B2B SaaS.

  • Strong customer discovery and product development skills.

  • Experience building or launching new products, product areas, or major initiatives from early stages.

  • Ability to deeply understand customer workflows and translate them into product direction.

  • Comfortable using AI tools to rapidly prototype ideas, create mockups, explore concepts, and validate solutions with customers.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to align technical and commercial stakeholders.

  • Experience working directly with customers, including discovery sessions, workshops, roadmap discussions, or strategic conversations.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping define strategy in fast-moving environments.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Located in the Copenhagen area - we don’t supply visas.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI, search, or developer tooling.

  • Experience in startups or scaleups.

  • Familiarity with product-led growth or hybrid sales/product motions.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using product data to support decisions.

  • Basic familiarity with SQL or analytics tools is a plus, but not a core requirement.

  • Experience working across US and European markets.
