I this role you will focus on shaping how we win new customers across international markets by elevating our sales excellence approach by strengthening our natural product‑selling capabilities. As Jørgen Staarup Christensen, Vice President of Commercial Operation Int Zone, puts it: ‘In order to create ownable, profitable positions in Foodservice, we need to sell solutions to our customers that bring value to their business. Great product performance is the starting point, but we need to further professionalize and unify the way we convey these benefits to our customers, which is why this role will be pivotal to the future development of Foodservice in Zone International.’”
How you will make an impact
In this role, you will shape how we combine sales excellence with natural product selling and help drive commercial performance in both new and existing markets. You will work closely with Foodservice teams across the International Zone and act as a key driver of capability uplift and customer wins.
Your key responsibilities will be:
You will be based in Viby, Copenhagen or another International Zone location and can expect up to 50 days of travel per year.
What will make you successful
You bring substantial experience from the culinary world, either as a former chef, restaurant manager or the like, as deep understanding of our customers kitchen operations as well as being able to match their professional mindsets are imperative. However, this cannot stand along but needs to be accompanied by a likewise substantial commercial experience from FMCG, where you excel in selling value adding solutions.
Success in this role comes from your ability to shape and prioritize your work independently, always focusing on where you can create the greatest commercial value. You thrive when designing and delivering a best‑practice B2B sales approach that blends sales excellence with natural product selling, and you are able to embed this effectively across the International Zone.
You elevate commercial and culinary capabilities throughout the Foodservice organization, ensuring that both local teams and selected customers’ sales and culinary staff benefit from a strong train‑the‑trainer approach. You also play a key role in winning customers in selected markets by taking full ownership of the end‑to‑end sales process and maintaining shadow P&L responsibility. At the same time, you strengthen the commercial and culinary network by utilizing best‑practice sharing, collaborative learning, and optimal use of culinary expertise across markets. Above all, your hunter mindset, proactive drive, and energetic engagement with customers and colleagues enable you to create substantial and lasting commercial impact. Naturally, you speak and write English fluently.
