Summary

As a Quotation Specialist you will be responsible for preparing and managing quotations for Service Projects (single machines/retrofits/automation upgrades etc.) and Service Agreements.

This role requires close collaboration with the Sales and internal (Operations) teams to ensure all quotations are accurate, competitive, and aligned with the company's pricing strategy, focusing on defining the scope, cost, and commercial terms. 

Job Responsibilities

  Technical and commercial responsibility for Service Projects and Service Agreements quotations

  
  


• 
  

  Elaborate on the technical and commercial analysis of customer requirements and project opportunities in alignment with the sales manager

  
  


• 
  

  Develop the concept in collaboration with sales, technology, engineering, and commercial services

  
  


• 
  

  Leads quotation development (including cost, scope, risks and commercial terms), and actively supports negotiation of related complex services agreements in order to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction 

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with experts from relevant departments to gather the necessary information for creating accurate and compliant quotations, i.e., technical experts, tax, legal, commercial, finance, etc.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  University degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent education through other educational paths

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 3 years of experience as Quotation Engineer/Quotation Specialist or proof of sufficient skills

  
  


• 
  

  Sufficient technical knowledge (depending on market) to understand client processes, not only machines but overall transformation and operation processes to identify customer needs

  
  


• 
  

  Sound understanding of pricing strategies, financial analysis, contract negotiation, and project management principles
