Local role with global impact

In this role, you will be based in our office in Ballerup, Denmark, and collaborate closely with our Software & Electronics teams in Ballerup and Augsburg, Germany. You will take ownership of solution-level architecture for our Endoscopy Systems Platform, ensuring that features and products are designed for scalability, compliance, and seamless integration.

As Solution Architect, you will play a key role in bridging product requirements and technical implementation, guiding development teams toward robust and efficient solutions that align with our overall system architecture.

Our teams work in a collaborative and agile environment, where open and honest discussions are key to solving complex problems.

More concretely, your work will involve the following:

• Participate in the early phase of Product design collaborating with UX, Marketing etc. on problem Discovery and Definition


• Drive the solution phase of Product design collaborating with System Architect, Team Architects, Engineers etc. on Development and Delivery of solutions ready for the release train


• Define solution-level architecture for new features and products within our Endoscopy Systems Platform


• Translate business and product requirements into actionable technical designs


• Ensure solution designs align with system architecture principles and regulatory standards


• Communicate design decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders


• Support planning activities with solution-level input and feasibility assessments


• Maintain solution documentation


• Collaborate with development teams during implementation to resolve technical challenges


• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies at the solution level


• Promote best practices in modular design, scalability, and maintainability

Suggested candidate profile

Setting you up for success is one of our cornerstones. In order to do so, we imagine you have a university background within software engineering, computer science, or similar, and solid experience in designing solutions for complex hardware/software integrated products.

Experience of the following is required:

• Proven experience in solution architecture or technical design for integrated systems


• Strong understanding of software design patterns and integration strategies


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)

Other requirements:

• English, both written and spoken, is crucial for the role
