This is a real growth opportunity for someone who wants to understand how group-level financial consolidation and financial reporting work in a large multinational company.

The position is in a international Senior System specialist team at the centre of group finance in one of the world's largest logistics companies. The team has a strong financial and technical understanding, and the position gives you direct exposure to the full financial consolidation lifecycle and to senior finance leadership.

An opportunity to shape how finance data quality governance works in DSV — not just execute existing processes but help build new ones. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of financial accounting, consolidation processes, and financial data quality governance — which means you need to be comfortable reading financial numbers and understand financial systems at the same time.

Your main focus, together with the team, will be to ensure that financial data flowing into and out of SAP Group Reporting is correct, complete and on time — and on building the discipline and controls that make that happen consistently.

Group Financial Data and BI sits at the centre of DSV's finance information chain. We own financial data quality and integrity across all our consolidation units, manage the full financial consolidation lifecycle in SAP Group Reporting, and support BI reporting and analytics towards the Local Business, to Group Controlling, Group Business partnering and Group Financial Reporting. We are a small, technically and financially strong team that works closely with Senior Finance and IT stakeholders across the group, and we are now growing to build a more structured data quality and governance layer.

The role

The core of this role is financial data quality governance, working directly with the team and all the reporting entities.

• You will participate in the pre- and post- financial consolidation control, which is effectively the quality gate between entity data and the consolidated figures.


• You will also be one of the main points of contact for reporting entities and group controllers during the financial closing cycle— guiding them through issues, answering process and system questions.


• Beyond the closing rhythm, you will work closely with our Senior System Specialist on building process documentation and SOPs and contributing to how we structure and improve the way our department works and interacts with others.


• You will work closely with other finance departments in what relates the financial data explanation, sanity, controls, financial updates and outgoing reporting (both internal and external).


• Finally, you will participate in the financial quality check for DSV’s processes of financial migrations, mergers and business transfers.

What we are looking for

You have 3 to 6 years of experience in either financial reporting, group consolidation, controlling, or audit — ideally with some exposure to a multinational group environment. Experience working in SAP environments - mainly SAP Group Reporting - is a plus.

You are organized, detail-oriented and rigorous in your work. You communicate clearly and directly, in English, both with finance colleagues and with technical teams. You are someone who wants to grow into more responsibility and is motivated by working in an environment where your contribution is visible and where there is room to develop beyond your initial scope.
