Help drive digital transformation in complex building and industry projects
Our team, Digital Management, contributes to a wide range of complex projects across sectors including energy infrastructure, healthcare, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, industry, data centers, commercial high-rises, cultural buildings and corporate headquarters. We support clients both as digital advisors and as part of multidisciplinary design teams.

Together, we are committed to becoming the leading consulting team within BIM Management 3D / 2D and digitalisation.

You will become part of a team of approximately 45 ICT, BIM and digitalisation specialists across Denmark. We are located in Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Lyngby and Odense and work closely together to deliver innovative digital solutions for our clients.

Your workplace will be at the COWI's office in either Aarhus or Vejle. During start-up, physical presence at the client’s office in “Trekantsområdet” will be required for introduction, knowledge transfer, and collaboration.

COWI’s corporate language is English; however, for this client, you must be able to speak and write Danish at a high level, corresponding to B2 proficiency.

Your responsibilities as a 2D AutoCad Technical Designer will include:



  • Participate in the design phase of electrical infrastructure, including preparation of documents for main and sub-components.

  • Prepare and manage drawings in 2D Autocad, including: 2D drawings, Schematic drawings, Layout drawings, Plan and section drawings, Electrical drawings, Construction site drawings

  • Carry out follow-up/review of documentation for quality assurance purposes and achieve it in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

  • Incorporate as-built material into the client’s facility documentation archive and other drawing-related tasks within projects.

  • Document management in Meridian.

  • Be part of a Digital Management discipline that continuously evolve and support standardization of BIM 3D / 2D processes and standards on projects. This includes a focus on integrating automation processes to project deliveries.

You will have:



  • At least +5 years of experience within 2D Autocad in the building industry.

  • You have attention to detail and a structured approach

  • You understand the importance of drawing standards, revision control and consistent document management, and you are comfortable coordinating drawing material with engineers, designers and client stakeholders.

  • You are motivated by learning new methods and ways of working within digital design and technical documentation.

  • Working in a dynamic project environment with several tasks and deadlines running in parallel motivates you, and you are able to stay structured and focused while managing multiple priorities.

Employment start date
Due to the client’s current workload and project priorities, the employment start date is set for 1. September.
