Training Specialist

The DSV Training Specialist is responsible for successful implementation and delivery of Trainings for operators and operation leadership in Warehouse Management System (WMS) as well as other trainings required, Like Safety, Handling Equipment during onboarding.

The position is supporting projects at DSV Contract Logistics sites. The Training Specialist delivers functional and business process expertise in multidiscipline processes with Work instructions and Learning platforms and Classroom trainings. This position is ensuring high quality in time deliverables.

Activities will be based out of DSV’s Horsens location, but will occasionally require to support on other DSV Locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).


• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills


• Strong and energetic personality, able to communicate on operations as well as management level.


• Independent Contributor

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

• Driving License

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in one or more WMS


• MS Office Suite


• English (reading, writing, verbal)


• Preferably Danish (reading, writing, verbal)

Other:

• High level of independency and self-driven


• Comfortable performing in front of an audience.


• Able to articulate and voice own opinion.


• Readiness to travel – can be on short notice.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.


• Extensive knowledge on warehouse processes and supporting system landscapes.


• 3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS (dispatcher preferred) or other major WMS products.


• Profound Logistical and/or Supply Chain Management process understanding.


• Experienced in working on small, fast paced project teams.


• SQL / Power BI proficiency is a plus.
