BI Student Assistant, Product Lifecycle Management – Aarhus

 
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is about step-changing the way we manage our products throughout their lifecycle. It is about integrating people, processes, data, and systems to ensure that we can meet current and future demands from our customers and consumers.

In the Digitalization & Product Data Excellence team, we are anchoring our PLM set-up in Arla and one of our many tasks is to support business functions in developing reports and analysis using Power BI to enable data driven decisions based on PLM data. We are therefore looking for a Student Assistant with flair for Power BI, process analysis, as well as data quality and analysis.

How you will make an impact

As our Student Assistant, you will become the analysis and reporting expert in the team and you will be part of the shaping and implementation of data governance for product master data in Arla.

Specifically, the role will include:

• Maintaining our current data models.


• Being a consultant for the business on how to develop and maintain reports based on PLM data .


• Driving the PLM Power BI super user community and securing utilization of PLM data through Power BI across business functions.


• Carrying out data analysis on large projects based on requirements defined together with colleagues across business functions.


• Supporting our Master Data Governance Manager and Data Stewards in the implementation and monitoring of data governance across product master data.

What will make you successful

You are studying Business Intelligence, Economics or another related study and have a good understanding of data analysis. You have a sense for details, when it comes to data and you take an analytical approach, when you are presented with large data sets. You are curious by nature, have a structured approach to your work and thrive with working independently.

Moreover, we expect that you have:

• Experience with BI systems (PowerBI would be an advantage) or data analysis in Excel .


• Solid communication skills in English both written and spoken.
