Are you a Bachelor's or Master's student in Denmark passionate about understanding what approaches work when designing programs to improve human health and planetary health? The Biotechnology team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation is looking for a motivated intern for a full-time internship during the spring semester 2027 (up to six months). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the evaluation and evidence base behind the Foundation's work in health, sustainability, and life sciences, while developing your skills in impact assessment, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
The Position
As our new Program Impact intern, you will join a dedicated team working on a wide array of projects and partnerships. This internship is designed to be a learning experience, where you will be supported in developing new skills and deepening your understanding of how to assess the efficacy and impact of projects across various domains with a focus on biotechnology, agriculture, and food systems.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Biotechnology team's Senior Scientific Manager and receive guidance throughout your internship. A core focus of this internship is looking back: reviewing the Foundation's previously funded projects and partnerships to assess what worked, what didn't, and why, and translating those lessons into recommendations for future funding decisions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to emerging projects related to using biotechnology to improve planetary health.
Your specific tasks and responsibilities will be scoped according to your academic background, capabilities, and interests. However, we are looking for someone who is excited to work with any or all of the following topics:

The working hours will be 37 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your other obligations as a student.
