Intern QA Engineer

As a QA Intern at Merkle, you will be embedded in a cross-functional team responsible for delivering high-quality e-commerce solutions. You will contribute directly to test planning, execution, and automation efforts while collaborating closely with developers and client stakeholders. We value learning, and your mentor will ensure you are ready for every task that comes your way.

•       Currently enrolled in a relevant IT or software development programme

•       Curious, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges

•       Engaging and collaborative — comfortable working both independently and in a team

•       Thorough and quality-minded, with an eye for detail

Key Responsibilities

•       Test frontend and backend functionality of e-commerce platforms

•       Develop and maintain test automation scripts in Ruby

•       Perform explorative testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues

•       Report bugs and defects clearly, and collaborate with the team to find solutions

•       Define test cases in cooperation with clients and team members

 

Methods & Technologies

•       Test automation and quality improvement practices

•       Ruby, Selenium, and Playwright for automated testing

•       TypeScript

•       Git for version control

•       Agile methods — SCRUM, Jira
