Your role in our team

As an intern in one of these roles, you will experience a variety of tasks and have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice. You will engage in process improvements and analytical and creative projects within a high-tech environment, while developing your professional skills alongside other passionate interns and students as part of our internal talent pipeline.

This position is part of our annual internship and trainee program, where multiple departments across Terma Aerostructures welcome interns and trainees simultaneously as part of a coordinated yearly recruitment cycle.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Tool Design

As an intern in Tool Design, you will work with designing and improving manufacturing tools and fixtures used in our production of composite and metal aircraft parts.

You will:

  • Assist in tool design and improvements
  
  
  • Work with CAD design (CATIA V5) and perform analysis
  
  
  • Monitor tool performance to support production needs
  
  
  • Engage with vendors and suppliers to retrieve offers
  
  
  • Provide technical support and advisory to internal stakeholders
  
  
  • Manage tool requirements and specifications
  
  
  
  

Materials & Processes

As an intern in Materials & Processes, you will work with ensuring our manufacturing processes meet quality standards and customer requirements.

You will:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and constructing process solutions
  
  
  • Support the creation of instructions used to build products from start to finish
  
  
  • Support process engineering initiatives to optimize production, improve material utilization, and increase energy efficiency
  
  
  • Assist in qualification of materials and processes
  
  
  • Monitor process performance
  
  
  • Provide technical support and advisory to internal stakeholders
