Student Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Independently manage smaller procurement projects and initiatives within an agreed scope and savings threshold


• Support sourcing activities including supplier identification, tender processes, quotation analysis, and negotiations


• Conduct contract and price negotiations with suppliers to support cost optimization initiatives


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions such as Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, IT, and other business areas to drive procurement initiatives forward


• Follow up on procurement projects, timelines, and savings realization


• Analyze supplier offers, market data, and procurement-related information to support decision-making


• Support Global Procurement in reducing and managing the pipeline of procurement projects and activities aimed at delivering organizational savings


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and ways of working


• Support ad hoc procurement and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

We imagine that you:

• Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or a related field


• Have strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills


• Are proactive, independent, and comfortable driving tasks with limited supervision


• Have good stakeholder management and communication skills


• Are comfortable working with data and Excel/PowerPoint


• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken


• Have an interest in procurement, sourcing, negotiations, and project management
