The Opportunity

We're looking for a Student Assistant to join our Emerging Products – Research team at our headquarters in Brøndby, Denmark.

In this role, you'll support product-driven research and prototyping within machine learning, computer vision, video analytics, and related AI technologies. Working alongside experienced researchers and engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience with the latest AI technologies while contributing to research that helps shape the future of intelligent video systems.

What You'll Do

As a Student Assistant, you will:

• Support research activities in machine learning, computer vision, video analytics, and Responsible AI.
• Develop, test, and document prototypes, experimental pipelines, and proof-of-concept models.
• Prepare, clean, annotate, and organize datasets for research experiments while following internal data handling practices.
• Run experiments, compare results, and summarize findings in a clear and practical way.
• Review academic literature, open-source tools, and emerging technologies, translating key insights for the team.
• Prepare technical documentation, internal presentations, demos, and research summaries.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and fellow students to validate new ideas and research directions.
• Contribute to a collaborative research environment where curiosity, experimentation, and knowledge sharing are encouraged.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a curious and motivated student who enjoys solving technical challenges and learning new technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to turn research into practical solutions.

We're excited to meet candidates who have:

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Good programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with machine learning or data science frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, pandas, OpenCV, or similar.
• An interest in machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, generative AI, video analytics, or edge/cloud AI.
• The ability to read technical documentation and research papers and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience using Git or similar version-control tools.
• Good written and spoken English.
