Student Assistant - Asset Management & Calibration Support

Are you interested in technology, equipment, and practical hands-on work?  Would you like to gain experience in a global engineering organization while supporting our R&D and Test Labs?

We are looking for a structured and service-minded Student Assistant to support asset management and internal calibration activities within the Test Systems Development team. In this role, you will help ensure that instruments and laboratory equipment are properly registered, tracked, maintained, and available when needed.

You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and laboratory users while gaining insight into how measurement equipment supports the development of hearing healthcare solutions.

As part of the job, you will: 

Instrument & Equipment Handling

• Prepare instruments and equipment for calibration services.


• Collect, sort, and organize instruments due for calibration.


• Ensure instruments are correctly packed and protected for transportation.


• Receive calibrated equipment and verify delivery documentation.


• Support labeling and identification of instruments according to company standards.
  
  

Asset Management & Documentation

• Coordinate shipment and return of instruments to external calibration laboratories and service vendors.


• Prepare weekly calibration deliveries and pickups.


• Support transportation planning and calibration schedules.


• Create and register new instruments in the asset management system.


• Update asset information in relevant systems.
  
  

Calibration Planning Support

• Assist in maintaining the asset list and calibration schedule.


• Monitor upcoming calibration due dates.


• Support tracking of instrument availability and calibration status.


• Help ensure laboratory equipment remains calibration compliant.
  
  

Operational Support

• Assist the Local Calibration Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks.


• Support continuous improvement activities related to calibration processes.


• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and laboratory users to maintain equipment readiness.

Working Hours

The position is expected to be approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexible working days and hours planned around your study schedule and team needs.
Working hours are typically within normal office hours (08:00-17:00), supporting activities related to asset management, calibration, and the coordination of instruments and equipment

What we are looking for

We imagine that you are currently enrolled in a vocational, technical, academy profession (AP Degree), upper-secondary, engineering-preparatory, laboratory technician, electronics-related, or similar educational program.

We imagine that you:

• Have an interest in technology, instruments, tools, or laboratory equipment.


• Are structured and detail-oriented.


• Enjoy practical hands-on work combined with administrative tasks.


• Are able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.


• Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.


• Ability to communicate in English when supporting international colleagues and users.


• Comfortable collaborating primarily in Danish in day-to-day activities with local stakeholders and service providers.


• Positive, proactive, and service-minded attitude.

The role requires regular hands-on handling of instruments and equipment, including moving items of different sizes and weights. All activities are performed according to Health & Safety guidelines, but a practical mindset and good physical capability will be beneficial.

The following will be considered an advantage but are not required:

• Experience with asset management systems or similar platforms.


• Experience handling laboratory or measurement equipment.


• Experience in technical laboratory, production, engineering, or service environments.
