Student Assistant Communication & Coordination, SDU Climate- Wise Week

Job Description - Student Assistant Communication & Coordination, SDU Climate- Wise Week

Description

Student Assistant — Communication & Coordination, SDU Climate-Wise Week

Do you want a student job where you help create an event, not just attend one?

SDU Center for Energy Informatics is looking for a student assistant to help bring SDU Climate-Wise Week 2026 to life this fall. The

role suits you if you're studying communication, coordination, or something similar, and you're genuinely

curious about climate, energy, and environmental topics.

About the project

SDU Climate-Wise Week is a brand-new, student engagement initiative running across five SDU campuses —

Odense, Esbjerg, Kolding, Sønderborg, and Vejle — this fall. The idea is simple: make climate-friendly

everyday choices visible, social, and easy to try. Small pop-up activities on campus, an online peer forum, and a

few light-hearted challenges and competitions will bring students together around climate and energy — no

lectures involved. It's a pilot year, so you'll help build something that can grow into an annual SDU tradition.

You won't be doing this alone — you'll be part of a small team and work closely with another student assistant

also on the project.

What you'll be doing

• Help with the practical delivery of materials and on-site assistance at events — including possibly

taking photos and generally lending a hand where needed.

• Support the project's communication efforts — for example writing and preparing content — and help

keep track of and pass on practical information to a group of volunteer student ambassadors.

• Help gather participant feedback after the events (e.g. through a short survey) and take care of any

practical follow-up.

• Other practical or administrative tasks related to the project, as needed.

What we're looking for

• You're in the last year of your Bachelor's or currently doing your Master's, preferably within

Communication, Coordination, or a related field.

• You have a genuine interest in climate, energy, and environmental topics.

• You're organized and don't mind juggling a few tasks at once.

• You speak and understand English and Danish (oral and written).

• You're happy to travel between SDU's different campuses when needed.

Practical information

• The position runs during the fall semester, with the workload concentrated both in the run-up to the

events — helping prepare materials and activities — and around the events themselves at the end of

October/November.

• Hours per week: max. 14 hours per week, but flexible to fit the event progress and your studies.

• The role involves travel to SDU's campuses in Odense, Esbjerg, Kolding, Sønderborg, and Vejle; travel

expenses are covered.
