Job Description - Training Student Assistant for Strategy and Management Office, Global Operations

We are looking for a new Training Student Assistant within our Strategy & PMO team. You will join a team focused on strategy, portfolio management, people, and improving the implementation of changes within GN Global Operations.

You will be responsible for coordinating our internal trainings for the rest of Global Operations and wider GN, playing a crucial role in enhancing our transformation capability.

The Team You Will be Part of

You will become an integral part of the Strategy & PMO team - a team focused on the development and execution of the Global Operations strategy. Your work will directly support these efforts by managing training communication and planning with the rest of the organization and coordinating cross-functional events.

The Strategy & PMO team is part of the Global Operations Strategy & Management Office function, a highly international team of 30+ people, which provides Global Operations with the skills, processes, systems, and tools to execute on the strategy.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Support the planning and coordination of our training offerings.

  • Manage communication regarding our training offerings.

  • Contribute to continuously improving our offering through insights collection and analysis.

  • Assist with strategy execution activities and undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks.

To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Possess communication skills, are structured, organized, and ready to handle unexpected challenges.

  • Approach tasks with curiosity and motivation, while showing a willingness to enhance your skills and contribute your unique creative perspective.

  • Are team-oriented, find joy in collaborative efforts, and look forward to engaging with different responsibilities.

  • Have a significant understanding of the Office package, with SharePoint experience seen as a benefit (though not required).

  • Have basic data management and analytical skills.

What is in it for you?

  • You will learn and enhance skills in communication, project management, data analysis and strategy.

  • You will find a collaborative and supportive team culture.

  • You will learn from experienced professionals and contribute to a international work environment with changing priorities.

  • You will work alongside other student assistants and have the opportunity to join a network of students working at GN.

Consider it as a stepping stone for future career opportunities in strategy, management, or operations in a global conglomerate.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value the right mindset; motivation and initiative and we believe that the right personal skills are highly important for creating positive outcomes.

We prioritize an inclusive recruitment process, and all applicants will receive equal consideration for employment.
