Application Analyst PIM

We are seeking a temporary replacement for a Business Analyst position on our eCommerce and Product Information Management (PIM) team due to parental leave.

Role & Responsibilities 

In this role, you will turn business requirements from the PIM area into actionable application features and user stories so that development teams can effectively support business processes. You will also assist the Team Lead in managing the PIM and eCommerce areas and help ensure projects are delivered on time. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, other Business Analysts, developers, and various stakeholders, reporting directly to the PIM and eCommerce Team Lead.

This includes: 

• Translate functional specifications into more details to guide development
• Examine and evaluate current systems, and identify its requirements
• Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features
• Validate the functionalities developed with the various participants
• Together with the teams ensure function specifications are met
• Prepare and lead coordination meetings
• Assist the project manager in following up and prioritizing development
• Document and update existing documentation (procedures, business procedures, user guides)
• Collaborate with software engineers to produce new systems

Formal Requirements 

• A minimum of 3 years work experience as Business/System Analyst or comparable role
• Experience working in an international setting with distributed application development teams
• Experience and knowledge in PIM, business case development and modelling techniques
• Familiarity with implementing applications like Inriver or other PIM solutions
• Fluency in English language, written as well as spoken

• Strong communicator and team player, experienced in SCRUM and Agile working methods
• Being a good sparring partner for Team Lead/Product Owner, as well as process experts and key users
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities together with stakeholders and team
• Having an eye for details with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Self-starter who drives to reach results
• Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances, and able to cope with occasional pressure and uncertainty
• Ability to make decisions and being accountable for decisions and actions
• Holistic perspective of the end-to-end process, understanding its components and data flows between them
