Your new role
In this position, you will:
Use data to analyze commercial performance related to markets, customers, sales, investments and resources
Structure and combine data to provide actionable insights and recommendations on both tactical and strategic level across affiliate functions
Observe and track trends to identify opportunities and drive efficiency
Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand and support processes, challenges, opportunities and needs
Your new department
The Finance & Operations team is responsible for all core finance functions locally, with the addition of supply, procurement and commercial excellence. We work with a wide variety of tasks, from driving strategy to supporting day-to-day operations. The local team is lean, with additional dedicated resources located outside Finland in a matrix setup. Together we form a group with diverse capabilities, but a common agenda. We are part of the Finnish affiliate where business has been growing consistently, with the market still presenting significant further growth opportunities. In Finland we all work as one team to improve outcomes for patients.
Your skills & qualifications
You are an ideal candidate if you can turn data into insights, drive development in collaboration with stakeholders on different levels, prepare and present complex issues, work proactively and make informed decisions. Additionally, you should be adept at expanding your internal network and communicate effectively and transparently.
As a person, you have a high level of integrity, are proactive, open-minded and curious.
Moreover, you are expected to meet the following requirements:
Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or other relevant field
2-5 years work experience from finance/analytics functions, preferably close to the market
Demonstrate the highest degree of business acumen with the ability to simplify complexity and drive operations
Solid skills in managing data and associated systems, turning it into insights and preparing presentations, both substance and visual elements
Excellent process and project management skills, including the ability to manage stakeholders across the organization
Experience from an international setting, working across functions and layers, and understanding of value chain, markets, and competition in the pharmaceutical or similar industry are considered an advantage
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, Finnish is considered an asset
