About the role

As Northmill continues to grow its B2B business and expand its presence in Finland, we are looking for a strategic, driven, and commercially minded Commercial Manager to help develop Northmill’s B2B sales business, with a strong focus on business financing. By building strong customer and partner relationships, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening Northmill’s position in the market.

• Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers and partners through various channels, including networking, industry events, phone, email, and social media.

• Customer & partner meetings: Book and conduct meetings with prospective customers and partners to present the company’s products and services, identify their needs, and discuss how our solutions can address them.

• Customer & partner relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Proposal management: Prepare and present proposals that meet the requirements of customers and partners, and follow up to drive the process forward.

• Closing: Negotiate terms and ultimately close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

• Internal collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing, Operations, Legal, Product, and Customer Service.

Your background

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and highly results-oriented, with a proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. You have solid experience in contract negotiations and business development, with a track record of successfully identifying and developing new business opportunities.

• Relevant university degree.

• At least 7 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years of experience selling financial products.

• Commercially minded, analytical, and proactive.

• Goal-oriented and motivated to create your own success.

• Proven ability to build successful customer relationships and drive deals from initial idea through to execution.

• Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written. Fluency in Swedish is a plus.
