We have an exciting opening in our Flexible Packaging segment for a Commercial Performance and Projects Manager. In this role, you will act as a strategic and operational partner to our VP Sales & Marketing, as well as leadership within Huhtamaki’s Flexible Packaging segment. This role provides high-impact support across reporting, planning, project management, and executive communications.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, high-potential professional to gain broad exposure to global commercial priorities and become a trusted advisor to senior sales leaders.
You will be located at our Espoo HQ in Finland, 4 days per week in the office with 1 day working remotely, and should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.
Reporting & Governance:
Prepare the monthly commercial report including GKA MMR (GKA performance, sales forecast, VOC insights, etc.)
Support scheduling and preparation of Sales Management Reviews (MRs)
Manage travel budgets & coordinate sales leadership (internal/external) events
Support maintenance of a structured view of competitive intelligence and market signals
Maintain total market opportunity, e.g. those with current competitors facing closure.
Project Management:
Drive special projects that increase the use of paper in flexible packaging
Specific strategic customer projects (Elopack, Mars, etc.)
Lead VOC deep-dive analyses and synthesize actionable recommendations
Strengthen and standardize sales forecasting processes
Assess private-label potential and related growth opportunities
Master's Degree qualified. A technical or business education is a benefit.
Extensive experience working with senior management/executives
Strong experience in a commercial capacity, preferably built within the packaging or manufacturing industry. Flexible packaging knowledge is advantageous.
An effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working in a complex environment
Strong analytical skills, able to gather and evaluate complex information, and distil key facts and arguments
Ability to prepare compelling presentations, aligned with the expectations of diverse audiences
