Financial Controller

Trimble is seeking a collaborative financial leader to oversee our financial operations in Finland and Germany, combining expert accounting with strategic business operations!

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will act as a versatile, independent expert overseeing the entire financial lifecycle for Trimble Forestry across Finland and Germany, directly influencing regional compliance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional business strategy.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Spearhead the month-end close process and manage complex accounting entries in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

• Drive financial reporting, budgeting, and revenue forecasting while leveraging advanced data tools to deliver key insights to corporate management.

• Lead local revenue and treasury management, including FX estimation, cash optimization, and standalone selling price analysis in collaboration with global teams.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, corporate governance, and tax compliance, while maintaining local board and shareholder records.

• Act as the key user for financial systems and provide direct managerial oversight and support for local team members.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience managing full-cycle financial accounting, month-end close, and statutory reporting.

• Proven expertise in FAS standards, along with experience navigating external audit processes.

• Strong analytical mindset with a background in complex journal entries, revenue recognition, and corporate compliance.

• Natural collaborator capable of managing financial systems and acting as a central contact for business operations.

Bonus Points For

• Experience working within a multinational technology or software business.

• Proficiency in the Finnish language is considered a great advantage.
