Job Description - Finnish Payroll Implementation Consultant




  • Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

  • Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

  • Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

  • Be a productive member of the team.






Requirements



  • Act as a client-facing functional lead during project kick-off and functional requirements discussions.

  • Gather payroll configuration requirements and complete Strada Pay workbooks, configuration documents, and questionnaires.

  • Identify deviations from standard Strada Pay products and processes and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Work closely with the Product team to configure and validate the payroll solution.

  • Support payroll solution, integration, UAT, parallel, and end-to-end testing activities.

  • Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across payroll and integrated systems.

  • Coordinate with technical and functional teams to resolve defects and integration issues.

  • Define appropriate workarounds and support resolution of complex payroll issues.

  • Contribute to project planning, tracking, and status updates.

  • Provide knowledge transfer to Delivery and Operational Payroll teams for ongoing solution support and maintenance.

  • Experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within a payroll outsourcing or payroll software environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Finnish payroll processes and compliance, including taxation and local payroll legislation.

  • Proven experience with the Finnish payroll implementation project lifecycle.

  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, articulate, and document business and payroll requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.

  • Ability to assess alternative solutions based on feasibility, impact, and cost.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
