Lead Programmer – Live Mobile Game

• Own the technical and architectural direction of the game with hands-on involvement
  


• Lead technical discovery and evaluation for new features and internal tools
  


• Act as the unifying tech voice across cross-functional teams
  


• Collaborate closely with external partners and platform/data/security teams
  


• Continuously improve tools, processes, and codebase quality
  

• Must already have the right to work in Finland (EU/EEA/Swiss citizenship or valid permit) — visa sponsorship is not available
  


• Hybrid role: minimum 3 days/week in Helsinki office
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical lead in live, free-to-play mobile games
  


• Strong C++ background across the full game development lifecycle
  


• Skilled in profiling, debugging, and performance optimization
  


• Experience with multi-platform development (iOS, Android; PC/Mac/Web a bonus)
  


• Comfortable with CI/CD, branching strategies, rollouts, and incident management
  


• Strong communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
