We are looking for a  

Maintenance Design Engineer, Mechanics

to join Normet Logistics & Scaling team.

In this position, you will do engineering feedback handling including manufacturing and assembly drawing updates and small-scale design work. The final job content will be adjusted according to your skills and interests. The role includes periodic evening shifts. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland.

Main responsibilities and tasks: 

• Maintenance engineering and on-call support
   

To shine in this position, we hope you have:  

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Know typical steel structure manufacturing methods
• Basic understanding of 3D design and technical drawings are a must
• Practical experience from steel structure manufacturing or assembly is an advantage
• Autodesk Inventor experience is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Finnish and English
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive way of working and eagerness to learn
• Results-driven attitude.
