We are looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer who will be at the heart of bringing Wärtsilä Energy projects to life. Your main mission will be planning, leading and managing mechanical construction and commissioning activities on-site, ensuring everything runs smoothly from installation through to final handover.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer your work will include taking ownership of mechanical installation and commissioning plans and delivering them with precision, while leading and inspiring the mechanical team to achieve high performance and strong collaboration. Communicating confidently with a wide range of stakeholders will be a key part of your role, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the project.

In this role, you spend approximately 250-300 days abroad per year. Please note that relocation costs and/or immigration support are not available for this position. This is a permanent position, and the preferred location for the role is Vaasa, Helsinki, or Turku, Finland.
