Eaton\u00b4s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Campus is completed by the end of 2023, and the 16,500 m\u00b2 site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs. As one of the world\u2019s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton\u2019s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton\u2019s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers. \nDo you want to work for a global player, where we care about ethics, inclusion and diversity and our people? \nThen we want to hear about you!\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nAs NPD Program Manager you will lead programs and projects critical to the efficiency, growth, and success of the Critical Power Solutions business unit. The role drives end-to-end execution of complex initiatives that require strong cross functional leadership and collaboration with global teams and external partners. \n \nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead global, regional, and local programs including new product development, operations, and process improvements.\n * Own delivery of project scope within technical, schedule, business growth, cost, and quality targets.\n * Lead cross functional project teams in a matrix organization.\n * Plan and execute project milestones, governance reviews, and executive updates.\n * Manage project financials including product cost, project cost and CAPEX.\n * Identify, secure, and manage resources; establish schedules and work breakdowns.\n * Proactively manage risks and drive mitigation actions.\n * Track and report project KPIs across financial, quality, technical, and delivery dimensions.\n * Promote and continuously improve project management processes and tools.\n * Mentor and coach other project managers and support portfolio planning with the PMO.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Economics.\n * Extensive experience in program/project management in R\u0026D domain or new product development.\n * Domain knowledge in electrical, power electronics, automotive, IT (firmware), machinery projects/programs is preferred.\n * Proficiency in English language, Finnish knowledge is beneficial.\n * Able to work and travel within EMEA region without any restrictions.\n * Skilled in MS Office package, especially in Excel - other tools knowledge in project management (MS Projects or similar) and resource planning are desirable.\n * PMP/IPMA or related certifications in project/program management are beneficial.\n * Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.\n * Able to work with a global team, coordinate project team members based in different regions and timezones.\n * Must have experience and capability to work effectively with people and teams globally. \n * Must be able to direct others without formal reporting relationships across multiple functions and sites.\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package (annual bonus, extra days off, health insurance, mobile phone, E-passi and many more!).\n * Flexible working solutions (working hours \u0026 home office eligibility).\n * Permanent contract in fast growing global company.\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team.\n * Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible.\n * Excellent working environment - safety and ethic are really important for us.\n\n\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
