Senior Analyst, Business Accounting and Reporting

We are now looking for a Senior Analyst, Business Accounting and Reporting, to join our Adhesive Materials Business Accounting and Reporting team, part of UPM Financial Control and Group Finance organization in Tampere, Finland.  This is a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2027.

What you will do  

• You will ensure high-quality and compliant business accounting and reporting expertise to UPM Adhesive Materials business area 

• You will provide finance reporting and analysis to Adhesive Materials Americas Region and support with Business area reporting and analysis 

• You will instruct and support internal stakeholders in complex business accounting and reporting questions 

• You will drive and contribute business area and other projects 

• You will lead and actively participate development initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation and accuracy in business accounting and reporting   

• You will collaborate closely with Business Control and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with business needs 

• You will take other responsibilities as assigned by superior  

Who you are  

• Financial and management accounting expert holding at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial and management reporting processes 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and conceptualize complex processes and data flows   

• Good communication skills with ability to summarize essentials to stakeholders and modify finance language according to audience 

• Talented and interested in Office tools and Business Intelligence tools (eg. Power BI)   

• You have good SAP (R/3 or S/4) skills  

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams  

• You have high self-leadership skills with capability to prioritize and lead/adapt to changes 

• Positive, proactive and solution-oriented mindset 

• You are fluent in English, other language skills are a benefit
