- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Physics, Electrochemistry, Fluid Dynamics, or a highly relevant modelling discipline.
- Expert in multiphysics and CFD tools like COMSOL, Fluent, StarCCM+, OpenFOAM, or similar software.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in optimization work, preferably for high-temperature products, solid oxide technologies, or complex chemical process equipment.
- CAD & Tools: Solid know-how of 3D design software, preferably Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
- Electrochemical Insights: Strong background in electrochemical characterization, data interpretation, and advanced analysis methods (e.g., EIS data analysis, DRT, equivalent circuit modelling).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You are a team player who can view the "full picture" across multiple cross-functional streams.
- Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English.
Viewed as a strong plus: - Specialized experience in Solid Oxide Electrolysis (SOEC) or Fuel Cell (SOFC) modelling.
- Deep understanding of material sciences.
- An established scientific and professional network within the hydrogen, fuel cell, and electrolysis arena.
