Job Description - (Senior) Technical Application Specialist

You will support the sales process with strong technical know-how of solid oxide technology and offer technical, pre-and post-sales support. You will work in close collaboration with engineering project managers, engineers, and specialists on customer integration projects, ensuring customer satisfactionYou will:

Provide support to solve technical questions of customers, both pre-and post-sales.
Participate in engineering projects to integrate company products into customer’s systems, providing technical expertise for subject matters concentrated in customer applications and use cases
Participate in technical responses to RFIs.
Participate in customer meetings and trade fairs as requested by sales (online and in person), presenting Elcogen’s solid oxide technology as the technical expert.
Contribute content for sales, marketing, and product-related material e.g. technical & economic analyses, product documentation, application notes, white papers, Q&As
Continuously collect and report technical feedback from customers from sales meetings, integration projects, and other interactions with customers.
Participate in the collection and analysis of operational data of Elcogen’s products in customer systems
Participate and/or lead post-sales support projects
Collect information of possible applications and business opportunities for Elcogen’s technology

You have:

Knowhow of process systems and technology design, operation, and troubleshooting
Willingness to travel
Strong English communication skills and other major languages are seen as a bonus
M.Sc. degree in relevant technical area; Ph.D. seen as a bonus
Minimum 5 years of experience in fuel cell or electrolysis systems design and operation, preferentially solid oxide-based technology, alternatively from the chemical process industry or energy industry
Experience in techno-economic analyses and concepts such as LCOH and LCOE is considered to be a bonus
Customer-centric with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ability to work independently and prioritize
Project management skills are seen as a bonus
