Role Mission

As Software Engineer Team Lead EU, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team while owning the delivery of complex software products. You will drive technical decision-making, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers — support growth, manage workload distribution, and maintain team health.

• Own end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-component product — from technical planning through deployment, ensuring quality and timelines are met.

• Drive architectural and technical decisions across the stack (Node.js, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, MongoDB), setting standards for code quality, reviews, and best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical scope, manage dependencies, and communicate progress and risks clearly.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including hands-on work with event-driven systems (RabbitMQ or similar).

• Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team, with the ability to delegate effectively and support mid-level engineers.

• Solid understanding of MongoDB data modeling and experience designing systems with complex, interdependent components.

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab workflows — branching strategies, pipeline configuration, and release management.
