Welders - MAG/MIG

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welding hull blocks, panels, stiffeners & double\-bottom structures
  




• Follow WPS, drawings & welding symbols
  




• Ensure weld quality meets shipyard & class standards
  




• Coordinate with QC inspectors & supervisors
  




• Follow shipyard safety & production procedures
  

Requirements

CERTIFICATION DETAILS

• Standard: EN ISO 9606\-1
  




• Issuing Body: Bureau Veritas / DNV / Inspecta / equivalent
  




• Test Piece: Shipbuilding type (block / plate)
  




• Certificate: Must be valid

✅ Mandatory Certification: EN ISO 9606\-1

✅ Welding Processes:

• MIG / MAG (135–138) – Mandatory
  




• TIG (141) – Preferred (optional)
  

Materials:

• Carbon Steel (FE)
  




• Stainless Steel (SS)
  




• Aluminum (AL)
  

Positions: PA / PB / PC / PF / PE

Thickness Range: 3–40 mm (MIG/MAG)

TIG (if available): 2–12 mm
