What kind of summer job awaits you?

At Metsä Group, your role will be diverse and dynamic. You’ll handle everything from routine support tasks to larger projects that carry greater responsibility. Our Credit Management team is a centralized function within Metsä Group, overseeing operational credit management and credit control for customers across the Nordic and Baltic regions. We support all Metsä Group legal entities, ensuring consistent and efficient credit processes.

The main duties for your role will involve contacting customers who are late with their payment, both collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced and goal oriented collections department. You will be working independently and proactively, within the guidelines set by operational superior. For the right candidate, we can also offer the possibility to get insight into financial analysis and customer credit risk.

What are we expecting of you?

We expect you to be reliable, flexible, proactive and cooperative. We value your ability to work independently, and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.

The job requires good IT skills, ability to cope with pressure and fluent communication skills in Swedish and English. Finnish language will also be considered an advantage. Strong analytical skills are as well a plus.

The summer job in the credit management team is suitable for university students in their first or second year of a bachelor’s degree in economics or similar field within the Finance area.
