We are now looking for a

Summer Trainee, Product Innovation, Mechanics

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Trainee to join our Product Innovation team, focusing on mechanical design in Hyvinkää. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in designing and simulating advanced mechanical solutions, contributing to real-world projects with the potential to shape the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies using Creo CAD software.

• Conduct dynamic and kinematic modeling to simulate and analyze mechanical solutions.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and multicompetence teams to innovate around KONE product solutions.

• Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and project reviews, sharing insights and proposing creative solutions.

• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and present findings as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably with Creo software.

• Experience in designing and simulating mechanical systems, including dynamic and kinematic modeling.

• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and innovative problem-solving skills.

• Ability and interest to conduct hands-on work building and assembling prototypes.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, knowledge in mechatronics is considered as an advantage.

• Fluency in Finnish and English; fluent written and verbal communication skills.

• This position requires physical presence in Hyvinkää, 5 days a week.

• Capable of working independently and taking initiative on assigned tasks.
