Trainee, Financial Analyst

to join our team.

KONE has initiated a strategic review of its Door Business to assess its optimal structure and synergies. The aim is to evaluate the best environment for growing the business in a way that benefits its customers, employees, and other stakeholders. In this role, you will be closely involved in financial performance analysis, market positioning and assessing the growth potential of the KONE Door Business. You will work as a part of a dynamic, international team, and collaborate closely with colleagues in Finance and multiple business stakeholders.

We are seeking a trainee to join our team for a 6-9 months period, starting as soon as possible. Workplace location is KONE Building, in Espoo, Finland.

Key responsibilities

• Performance analysis of consolidated financials

• Business modeling and scenario planning

• Data gathering and coordination of development projects

• Assisting in monthly business controlling activities

What we value

• Some experience in a similar role

• Completed at least most of your studies, preferably in economics, finance, industrial engineering or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and command of Excel, other analytics tools are an asset

• Experience on business modeling, ability to simplify complex topics into clear messages

• Interest in business, transformation, and financial performance

• Proactive and collaborative working style

• Full professional proficiency in English, other languages beneficial.
