Sourcing & Hedging Summer Trainee

We are now looking for a Sourcing & Hedging Summer Trainee to join our Coffee & Flavoring team for summer 2026. The summer job runs from early May to the end of August, with exact weeks agreed separately. Ideally, you could start earlier in the spring as a part‑time trainee. 

Your role in the blend 

As a Sourcing & Hedging Summer Trainee, you will support our sourcing team and contribute to developing tools and processes. In this role, you will: 

• Support sourcing managers in their daily work. 
• Maintain supplier documentation (certifications, audit protocols). 
• Carry out administrative tasks (sending SAQs, updating ERP, preparing presentations, running reports). 
• Challenge the status quo by developing sourcing tools and processes. 
• Bring new ideas to drive development and change. 
• Work according to Paulig values: Grow Together, Strive for Excellence, Stay Curious. 

Your key ingredients 

You are an open‑minded team player with a proactive attitude, eager to learn and contribute. To succeed in this role, you likely have: 

• Strong communication and networking skills. 
• Analytical mindset and strong numeracy skills. 
• Experience with Infor M3 and advanced Excel (not required but beneficial). 
• Fluency in English, written and spoken. 
• Relevant studies in business, logistics or similar. 
• Previous experience in Logistics, Sourcing or Supply Chain is an advantage. 
• At least 18 years of age.
