The role sits in the Commercial Planning and Steering organization and is responsible for all of the mid to long term demand planning and the short-term forecasting deriving the steering actions for the Business. The team works in close collaboration with the core business units (Marketing, Convenience, Supply, Finance). The Commercial Planning & Steering Analyst will support the long-term success of BESTECRET in the different regions by driving insights, planning, and forecasting our sales, providing data-driven recommendations, and bringing transparency to the business drivers. The candidate must have strong analytical skills and a deep business knowledge of the industry to help BESTECRET senior staff in commercial planning and steering decision-making. This is a high-impact role that will have a direct influence on the day-to-day rhythm of BESTSECRET’s core consumer business and ensure its continued succes.

Main responsibility areas:

• You will be actively involved in our monthly forecasting process to support effective decision‑making and ensure smooth operations.


• You will develop our forecasting demand planning models by implementing statistical methods to perform predictive analysis for sales trends and customer behavior in our plans.


• You will drive analysis generating actionable insights to provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.


• You will collaborate with the Data Team to develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to topline metrics, customer behavior, and model accuracy.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a business/financial analyst, sales planner, or consultant.


• Master's degree in business, engineering, or finance.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate critical-thinking abilities combined with a strong business understanding.


• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL are a must.


• Expertise in Excel (including VBA macros and modeling techniques)


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with good stakeholder management abilities. You can present analytical and data-based insights to a diverse audience.


• A dedicated team player who is also able to drive your work autonomously.


• Proficient in English in both oral and written form.

It would be a plus if:

• You can create/edit dashboards in Power BI.


• You have already worked in the e-commerce industry.
