Buyer - General Industrial Services

INS (Industrial Products and Services) with 6 Sub-Categories present in 6 hubs ensures proximity to the plant and captures full benefit of our size. This Procurement organization is centrally led and managed per categories to develop expertise, consolidate the needs and follow-up the execution of contracts.

General Industrial Services Sub-Category is in charge of activities like Internal Transport and Handling, Packaging and warehousing, Industrial Cleaning, Scaffolding as well as Support and Facility Management services.

Our General Industrial Services team is looking for a Buyer to join its team:

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for General Industrial Services subcategory in the Cluster.


• Build transparency of subcategory spend in the Cluster and drive cost reduction.


• Work closely with internal customers and logistics people on sites to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity.


• Together with Lead User and Users collaborate in the search and implementation of Progress and TCO Actions.


• Work closely with Lead Buyer in conducting research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles.


• Participate in Transversal Projects/Initiatives Across Clusters to ensure share of Best practices.


• Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the mills/sites.


• Develop and maintain supplier profiles: Manage Supplier relationship and monitor contract compliance.


• Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses:
  
  
  
  • Spend data analysis and basic financial analyses,
  
  
  • Performance reporting
  
  
  • Category strategy development (ex: supply market research, price benchmarks),
  
  
  • Supplier profile maintenance.
  
  


• Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperation with internal customers across sites.


• Participate in transversal working groups and projects.
  
   

Profile Required:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.


• Experience in similar kind of scope.


• Have a problem-solving, analytical skills and good ease facing numbers. 


• Possess good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation. 


• Demonstrate leadership and good communication skills. 


• Have an appetite for finding information about innovative industry and for market analysis. 


• Knowledge of quality management norms (ISO 9001…) would be a plus.


• English and local Hub language. Any additional European language is a plus.
