As a City Relation & Success Manager, you will join our Expansion Team in Paris and work closely with Guillem, Head of Expansion and two other City Relation & Success Manager.
Within the Expansion team, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of 7 to 10 cities, acting as the main point of contact for elected officials, city staff, and the local ecosystem.
Your primary objective will be to secure the renewal of pony's contracts and licenses in each city while identifying opportunities to expand pony's footprint where relevant.
You are also responsible for making the service a true success among residents, driving high usage and ensuring it is perceived as something that positively shapes local life.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as pony's main point of contact for elected officials and city staff:
- Build a trusted relationship with pony's contacts (elected officials and city staff).
- Understand their challenges so that pony's teams can respond effectively.
- Be proactive and responsive to a wide range of requests.
- Write content and produce reports showcasing the positive impact of the pony service for residents.
Lead local projects proposed by pony:
- Propose projects to elected officials and city staff that address their mobility challenges.
- Work with elected officials and city staff to ensure smooth communication and execution of projects.
- Work with the local ecosystem (associations, businesses, etc.) to develop partnerships that showcase pony's impact.
- Set up, together with the Marketing team, partnerships with local players such as associations, businesses, and media.
Ensure high-quality service delivery:
- Work closely with other pony teams to ensure we locally meet pony's standards and cities' expectations.
- Relay on-the-ground feedback (from users, elected officials, and city staff) to drive continuous service improvement.
- Anticipate and resolve issues before they affect the relationship with the city.
Maximise city potential (popularity and rides):
- Build and drive a commercial action plan per city, in coordination with the Marketing and Operations teams.
- Track the performance (rides, turnover, utilisation rate) of their city portfolio.
- Contribute to pony's growthSupport to the pony sales team when tenders are published.
Education background: Graduate from a top business school or Sciences Po.
Professional experience: 1+ year experience in a similar field, ; with an interest in politics or urban mobility is a strong plus.
Relationship-building: Ability to develop trust-based relationships with public-sector stakeholders and navigate institutional environments.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting pony’s offer to diverse public audiences.
Project management: Organised and structured, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and mobilise different stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Problem-solving: Able to contribute to solving unexpected challenges and support the team in finding practical solutions.
Committed and enthusiastic: Ready to fully engage in high-impact projects and travel regularly to support local initiatives.
