Our areas of expertise:

• Nuclear: Supplier surveillance, quality system assessment, mastery of the RCC-M code and EDF specifications, monitoring of welded fabrications.


• Oil & Gas: Design, drafting of welding and inspection specifications, material selection, fabrication monitoring, quality assurance and quality control.


• Welding and NDT: Expertise across all welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW…) and testing methods (UT, RT, PT, MT…), compliance with RCC-M, EN 15614, API, AWS, ASME, DNV standards.

Description du poste

Context:
On behalf of our client, Weld World is hiring 3 Electrical Supplier Quality Engineers, one per country (France, Italy, Poland), to support supplier quality on electrical equipment — from supplier qualification to shipment release.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform surveillance inspections and witness points


• Ensure kick-off meetings with suppliers


• Set up the inspection strategy


• Support electrical vendor surveillance and supplier qualification


• Verify compliance with IEC standards (transformers, MV/LV switchgear, motors, protection & control)


• Execute FAT/SAT and witness dielectric, insulation resistance and functional tests


• Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5Why, RCA) and manage corrective/preventive actions with suppliers


• Review quality documentation (ITP, EoMR) and authorize shipment release


• Monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvement plans with underperforming vendors

Profil recherché

Profile:

• 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Supplier Quality Engineer


• Working knowledge of IEC standards (transformers, switchgear, motors) and ISO 9001:2015


• Comfortable with FAT/SAT, dielectric testing, and RCA methodologies (8D, 5Why)


• Fluent in the local language (French / Italian / Polish) + English


• Willingness to travel to supplier facilities (up to ~30%)
