Manufacturing Accounting Controller

Your work environment :

Within the European Finance department,  we are looking for a Manufacturing Accounting Controller, reporting to the Manufacturing Accounting Processes Manager, based in Saint-Ouen, near Paris.

Your mission in Crown

The main task will be to create standard procedures, standard reports and files that need to be used in a consistent and standardized way in each plant or center for controlling, forecasting and SOX. The role will also be key in supporting the controllers in the SAP application, particularly around production accounting processes, and in preparing some SOX controls centrally. The role will also be pivotal to support controllers on SAP application especially in the manufacturing accounting process field.

In more details, you will :

Support the finance monthly closing and forecast

Provide manufacturing accounting process expertise and support the plants and functions
Introduce systems and procedures to improve the integrity of financial data across the sectors
Support the roll out and go live of key centralization projects
Centralise/ Standardize  SOX control, Finance process actual/forecast through the EMEA division
Identify, record and implement best practices across the plants
Troubleshoot and resolve problem areas in plants
Develop, maintain Costing of the material for Europe in SAP

 
About you

You have a Master's degree in Finance  (Accounting and Finance Controlling specialisation), with preferably 2-3 years' experience, preferably in the packaging industry or in the manufacturing environment. You have a good know-how in cost control and process optimization., ideally with an understanding of Product and Standard costing.

Experience with SAP would be a plus. You have good communication, influential and organizational skills, an analytical and structured approach and are flexible to travel within Europe. You are fluent in English and proficient in Excel.
