Role Description:

As a MD within Capital Markets you are broadly responsible for developing tactical plans specific to the targeted client group. As the primary banker and advisor for major clients, the individual will handle all aspects of the client relationship including direction, coordination and the execution of various transactions.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying new sources of institutional capital & maintain relationships with institutional investors
  • Manage and develop direct resources and activities across the global franchise in order to deliver the Bank’s products and services to the client.
  • Act as the senior client manager for key GCIB clients
  • Build and manage senior client relationships on a day-to-day basis and provide a point of contact
  • Responsible for ensuring the Bank’s activities are conducted in a compliant and risk free manner.

  • Deliver presentations and advice to clients
  • Originate business and offer all the products the Bank can offer to each client.
  • Demonstrate and maintain appropriate detailed sector, regional and technical knowledge
  • Perform and supervise the performance of detailed financial and strategic analyses of potential clients and targets
  • Build direct cross functional relationships with bankers in product and regional business units
  • Provide guidance and aid the development and mentoring of junior members of the team
  • Responsible for the attraction and development of talent in the company and following such performance management procedures as the company’s policies dictate
