About The Role
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to drive financial crime compliance for our French branch. You will own suspicious activity reporting to Tracfin, act as the local point of reference for AML/CFT matters, and work hand in hand with our FinCrime Operations team on investigations, escalations and quality while closely working with Group Compliance with regulatory matters.
Your Mission
Suspicious activity reporting
- Review cases escalated by FinCrime Operations, decide whether a déclaration de soupçon is required, and keep an auditable record of every decision, including non-filings.
- Draft, quality-check and file SARs with Tracfin via ERMES within regulatory timelines, and handle droit de communication requests and follow-ups.
- Act as déclarant and correspondant Tracfin for the branch, once designated.
Supporting FinCrime Operations
- Be the escalation point for complex cases involving French customers or French-specific typologies, and help raise the bar on investigation quality and case narratives.
- Contribute to transaction monitoring tuning, alert typologies and red-flag guidance for the French market.
- Support asset-freeze and sanctions escalations under the French national regime (DG Trésor).
Local compliance framework
- Make sure group AML/CFT policies meet French requirements (Code monétaire et financier, ACPR guidance) and flag gaps.
- Contribute to the French branch risk assessment and annual regulatory reporting, including the ACPR AML/CFT questionnaire.
- Track French regulatory changes and AMLA/AMLR developments, explain their operational impact, and train local staff and analysts on French specifics.
Regulatory relationship
- Prepare for and progressively lead exchanges with the ACPR and Tracfin, including inspections, information requests and remediation.
- Report key metrics and risks to the Head of FinCrime Operations and Group Compliance.
Compensation range
Final compensation is determined individually, based on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role, assessed against objective, gender-neutral criteria.

We're building Vivid as an AI-native organization — across every function, from product to compliance to operations. Automation handles a growing share of day-to-day execution. For us, this means our teams can focus on architecture, strategy, and high-impact decision-making. This changes how we work: less manual execution, more ownership in building systems that scale. We want to help define what AI-native looks like in a regulated financial environment — and we're looking for people who want to build that future with us.
