Sales Manager Plastics for Film Applications

Resina Partners is supporting a leading European plastics distributor in the search for a Sales Manager for France, responsible for sales of products for film extrusion applications.

A solid, family-owned distributor with over 30 years of activity, specialized in the European distribution of polyolefins, copolymers, elastomers, masterbatches, engineered polymers, and more.

With almost 200 employees across multiple European countries, the company continues to grow through a mix of long-term partnerships and technical expertise.

The role

You will take ownership of the French market for products for film extrusion applications.

Your mission will be to consolidate existing business, develop new accounts, and support continued growth in collaboration with the wider European commercial team.

The role combines account management and business development, and includes the coordination of sales colleagues serving film customers across France.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with film extrusion converters


• Promote and sell a broad range of products for film applications (polyolefins, metallocenes, elastomers, copolymers, masterbatches, etc.)


• Act as the reference point for film-related accounts within the French team, ensuring alignment on pricing and strategy


• Identify opportunities for growth and margin optimization


• Work closely with technical and logistics teams to deliver consistent customer service

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in plastics raw materials, ideally with exposure to the film extrusion market


• Network of film converters across France (blown/cast)


• Experience from distribution or trading preferred; background in masterbatch also valued


• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and commercially driven


• Fluent in French and English

(Experience from large producers is less aligned – preference for candidates from dynamic distribution environments.)
