Senior Electronics Design Engineer (Space Industry)

We are is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a fast-growing European space technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for nano- and microsatellites. Following a successful in-orbit demonstration, the company is now entering a major industrialization phase.

Role Overview

• Location: Palaiseau (Paris area), France.

• Work Arrangement: On-site.

• Salary Range: 55k€ – 75k€ (negotiable based on experience).

• Mission: Design and develop the electronic boards (PCB) that power and control satellite propulsion systems, including power electronics and onboard computer interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Design: Lead the full design cycle of electronic boards (PCB) for complex propulsion systems.

• Technical Development: Work across analog, digital, and power electronics.

• Testing & Validation: Participate in electronics testing and validation for demanding, harsh environments.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with avionics, propulsion, and software teams to ensure system integration.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 7–10 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware design.

• Technical Mastery: Proven track record in PCB design using tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Cadence.

• Specialization: Deep expertise in both analog and digital electronics.

• Education: Master's or Engineering degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.

• Environment: Experience developing electronics for harsh or highly regulated environments (e.g., Space, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or Medical Devices).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-voltage electronics.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering and electronics protection techniques such as potting or conformal coating.
• Background in power conversion or power electronics.
