Senior Solutions Architect for ArcelorMittal Group Treasury

Responsabilities :

• Support the department manager in defining and implementing the Information Systems strategy.


• Review the current architecture and define the target architecture for software solutions and infrastructure in alignment with the company's overall strategy.


• Drive continuous improvement of the production environment's stability by working closely with stakeholders to configure, maintain, and monitor applications while meeting system availability objectives.


• Interact with business users on day-to-day operational issues and collaborate with the Treasury Projects team on new developments.


• Establish development standards and engineering best practices, ensuring their adoption by delivery teams.


• Mentor, coach, and guide developers and junior architects throughout the project lifecycle.


• Integrate security requirements (Cybersecurity, GDPR) from the design phase onward ("Security by Design").


• Map existing legacy systems and design migration roadmaps toward new solutions.


• Simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to business management and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile :

A multidisciplinary expertise combined with a high level of autonomy is essential. 

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Master's level) in Computer Science or a related field. 


• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in software development and solution design, including at least 4 years as a Solutions Architect. 


• More than 5 years of experience in the technical management of a cash management and/or capital markets solution is required, along with a solid understanding of business processes (financial transaction lifecycle through payment generation and accounting). Knowledge of one or more of the following solutions would be considered a strong advantage: KTP (Finastra), TRAX (FIS), Calypso (NASDAQ), Diapason. 


• Previous experience in the FinTech sector, with a Treasury Management System (TMS) software vendor, or within the Financial IT department of a large multinational organization is highly desirable

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in Java (recent versions), the Spring Boot framework (Spring Data, Spring Security), and containerization on Microsoft Azure (AKS, Azure Functions, API Management).


• Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL, advanced optimization of complex queries, and real-time transactional data processing).


• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Proven experience designing microservices, event-driven architectures (Service Bus/Kafka), and secure APIs.


• Development and architecture experience in a complex financial environment, with knowledge of FX derivatives, commodities, and interest-rate derivatives products.


• Good understanding of corporate treasury operations, financial messaging standards (ISO 20022, MT/MX), and banking connectivity.


• Solid experience in designing and building business-oriented reporting solutions.
