BESS solutions support the integration of renewable energy, grid stability, and energy optimization for customers across utilities, commercial, and industrial sectors. By combining advanced power management technologies with deep electrical expertise, Eaton BESS helps customers manage energy more reliably and sustainably.\n\nWe are seeking a Technical Support After Sales professional based in Montbonnot\u2011Saint\u2011Martin, near Grenoble - one of Eaton\u2019s key engineering and innovation sites within the Electrical Division. In this role, you will support Eaton\u2019s BESS after\u2011sales activities by addressing technical issues raised by country technical support teams, contributing to service readiness for new projects, and supporting the development of technical correspondents through knowledge sharing and training.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nSupport and Training \n\u2022 Provide expert guidance and assistance for BESS products after sales. \n\u2022 Train Field Service Engineers (FSE) and Authorized Service Partners, including developing training materials, conducting training events, and creating service manuals. \n\u2022 Identify, reproduce, and fix customer issues through hands-on troubleshooting sessions using on-prem equipement \nTechnical Interface \n\u2022 Collect and analyze technical information from the field to develop action plans in collaboration with R\u0026D and quality teams, and if necessary, with customers until resolution. \n\u2022 Write and distribute Field Service Bulletins (FSB). \n\u2022 Represent the service team in new product development meetings and Gate Reviews. \n\u2022 Occasionally visit customer sites to provide technical expertise for complex issues. \n\u2022 Occasionally visit customer sites to provide support with comissionning complex systems. \nSpare Parts \n\u2022 Create and maintain spare part lists and kits. \n\u2022 Provide technical support for spare parts to field engineers. \nQuality Improvement \n\u2022 Execute functional testing plan before releasing new firmware updates to customers. \n\u2022 Organize periodic expert meetings. \n\u2022 Ensure rapid and appropriate responses to users to maintain customer satisfaction. \nAfter Sales Process Definition and Improvement \n\u2022 Define, monitor, and improve the after sales process for BESS products, applicable to all stakeholders. \n\u2022 Plan, track, and report KPIs related to the after sales process. \n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree (Bac +2 to Bac +5), preferably in a technical field\n * Good command of Englishand French, both written and spoken\n * Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar or relevant role\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Strong background in Electrical, Electronic, Electrotechnical, or IT Network disciplines\n * Team\u2011oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills\n * Ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment\n * Methodical and structured approach to problem solving\n * Strong ability to analyze information and summarize technical topics clearly\n\n\n\n## We offer\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * We make your aspirations matter \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\n * We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term \u2013 not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University\n * We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people\u2019s lives and the environment through power management technologies.\n * We make your wellbeing matter \u2013 We put your health and safety first.
