Front-End Developer Intern

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for a talented intern to join its Paris team as a Front-End Developer Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the design, development, and improvement of EIC’s web interfaces and digital experiences.

You will contribute to developing front-end features, optimizing existing interfaces, and improving the user experience across our different digital platforms.

You will take on a versatile role at the intersection of web development, UX/UI, and digital innovation, with real responsibilities from the beginning of your internship.

The internship will take place at our Paris office, while working closely with our teams based in Canada.

You will evolve in an international environment and contribute to the development of a program helping students and young graduates build their professional experience abroad.

MISSIONS

As a Front-End Developer Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in developing and improving our digital interfaces.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Front-end development: contribute to designing and developing modern, high-performance web interfaces adapted to user needs.
• Design implementation: transform UX/UI designs and mockups into functional web interfaces.
• Responsive development: create interfaces adapted to desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
• User experience improvement: identify areas for improvement and contribute to making interfaces simpler and more intuitive.
• New feature development: develop new front-end features based on user and business needs.
• Performance optimization: improve loading times, responsiveness, and overall interface performance.
• Code maintenance: fix issues, improve existing code, and maintain code quality.
• Testing and validation: participate in testing features and ensuring they work properly before deployment.
• Cross-device compatibility: ensure a consistent experience across different browsers and devices.
• Collaboration with technical and design teams: work with developers, designers, and business teams to turn requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Technology monitoring: stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and front-end development best practices.
• Technical documentation: contribute to documenting developed features and technical solutions.

PROFILE

• You are currently studying computer science, web development, software development, engineering, or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in front-end development, web interfaces, and user experience.
• You are comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You have knowledge of or initial experience with a front-end framework such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or a similar technology.
• You are rigorous, curious, and enjoy solving technical problems.
• You pay attention to code quality and visual details.
• You are autonomous, organized, and able to learn new technologies quickly.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with technical and creative profiles.
• Previous experience in web development or front-end integration is a plus.
• A good level of English is appreciated in order to collaborate with our teams based in Canada.
