The Accountant supports the Manager Finance and Controlling by executing all necessary tasks to ensure adequate company accounting and reporting.
This includes in particular:
- Independent posting of all business transactions: You are responsible for the accurate and independent posting of all financial transactions.
- Account reconciliation: You perform account reconciliations (balance sheet/income statement, subledgers), maintain master data, and execute electronic payment transactions.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: You prepare financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax law as well as IFRS and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Tax returns: You will be responsible for preparing sales tax returns on time and prepare statements on sales tax issues with the relevant sales tax documents
- Active participation in the implementation and further development of the ERP program SAP S/4HANA: You will play a role in the continuous optimization and digitization of accounting processes.
- Monitoring of petty cash and monthly travel expenses
- Support in miscellaneous accounting and administrative tasks such as archiving or storing
